An FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and an HSA (Health Savings Account) are tax-advantaged accounts for medical expenses but differ in key aspects. FSAs, employer-sponsored, allow employees to use pre-tax dollars for medical expenses such as prescriptions and copays, but typically feature a "use-it-or-lose-it" policy where funds must be used within the plan year. HSAs are available to those with a high-deductible health plan and offer more flexibility, allowing funds to roll over annually.

A Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) is a document written by a healthcare provider that explains why a specific medical service, treatment, or equipment is necessary for a patient's health. Cradlewise falls under the "Always Eligible" category, which means a Letter of Medical Necessity is not required for reimbursement.

Existing customers may be able to submit their AU Baby receipt for reimbursement, depending on the exact terms of their FSA plan. HSA account holders should be able to submit for reimbursement for past purchases. New customers can use the “Flex” option at checkout to pay with FSA/HSA funds directly. Rosacea
Seborrheic Dermatitis
Atopic Dermatitis
Neurodermatitis

Adult blankets are covered for all the above skin conditions as well as these common sleep issues:
Insomnia
Sleep Apnea
Restless Legs Syndrome

Select “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA'' at checkout. Input your card details and checkout as usual.

Only the Cradlewise Smart Crib is eligible for HSA/FSA; all other items (accessories and CradlewiseProtect) are not eligible.

Currently, split card payments are not supported. If your HSA/FSA card doesn’t have enough balance to cover the full purchase, you can use a regular credit or debit card for the entire amount. After your purchase, you can claim reimbursement from your HSA/FSA provider by submitting an itemized receipt. Please contact us at support@cradlewise.com to request an itemized receipt for your order.

Accessories not covered by the HSA/FSA card and will be charged to your credit/debit card. When you have accessories in your cart, you will see a split card view with a top and bottom section.

In the top section, you’ll see the items eligible for HSA/FSA coverage. In the bottom section, you’ll see the accessories not covered by the HSA/FSA card and will be charged to your credit/debit card.

In this case, none of the items in your cart may be HSA or FSA eligible. Only AU Baby blankets are eligible for HSA/FSA; all other items are not eligible.

Like any credit or debit card, HSA/FSAs can be declined if any of the data from the card is incorrect (number, expiration date, zip code etc). Flex will alert you in checkout if any of these fields is missing or incorrect so you can update them.

The most common reason for rejection of the card is insufficient funds. Reach out to your HSA or FSA provider to verify the amount of money in your account before attempting to complete your purchase again.

Yes, you can still be reimbursed for the expense. Select “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” at checkout. Instead of entering your HSA or FSA card, input your regular credit card. Flex will email you an itemized receipt following your purchase. Submit the itemized receipt to your HSA or FSA provider for reimbursement.

Flex has partnered with AU Baby to enable consumers to use their HSA/FSA funds. You can think of Flex as an alternative to payment method, similar to Affirm, Klarna etc.
